We will operate legally and ethically at all times.We do not divulge your personal details to any third party without your consent.

We reserve the right to use any artwork sent on our web site or in promotional material unless specifically asked not to.

We respect your consumer rights and legal protection under the data-protection act.

By ordering from Londoncakes.com Ltd or any of our trading names, you agree to pay us in UK sterling for a cake to be delivered on a specified date. Our payment card handlers will deduct payment in the local currency, e.g. US Dollars etc.
We offer a 120% money back gurantee if the product is not to your satisfaction. To qualify we will retrieve the goods and pass for our own internal inspection. If more than 30% of the product has been consummed, the 120% gurantee will not be sanctioned as your dis-satisfation would be in question. If your dis-satisfation relates to the courier service, we can not be held liable for a third party but will consider each application on it's individual merit.

If you consume the cake we may offer a percentage refund, however this is discretionary. Eating the cake will be deemed as acceptance of the goods.
If you wish a full refund, then return the cake intact, unless it is a question of taste, in which case return as much of the cake as possible.

You also agree, that londoncakes.com or any member of its team cannot be held responsible for any delay of cake delivery. If we are unable to deliver we cannot be held responsible but will endeavour to complete delivery if possible as we wish to be known for extremely high standards of customer service. We will not grant a refund if we are unable to deliver due to absence at the delivery address on the order form. We cannot be held responsible for changes and amendments made after the order is placed by you the customer on-line. Failure to provide complete and correct delivery and contact details will render refunds null and void.

The cake may be delivered by a third party such as a National courier in the case of cakesnextday.com. Similarly no refund will be granted if delivery is attempted during the stated hours and no one present at the address. A cake ordered on the standard delivery tariff will may be delivered anytime between 8:00am and 6:30pm. The £3 priority delivery is delivered between 8:00am and 12:30pm. We deliver to residential and business addresses, that comply with the Parcelforce and Royal Mail database. We can not accept responsibility for cakes delivered to parks, theme parks, sporting and entertainment venues unless specific arrangements have been made.
It is encumbent on the purchaser to be available for delivery through-out that day. If the courier does not get an answer within a reasonable time (currently 2-3 minutes) they will deliver the cake to a local p;ost office for collection later, typically after 3pm. It is advisabel to take an item of mail with your address on it to collect from the Post Office. If you are not in to accept delivery and wish an alternative arrangement (neighbour, garden shed etc.) we will make a note but by no means guarantee delivery outside the normal conditions.

We cannot be held responsible for non delivery and accept no liability.

We reserve the right to change the products and colours from the pictures shown if necessary. The colours are matched closely but are not pantones, this is an edible product after all. Please note, different cake decorators have different styles so slight variations in decoration style are possible and we are not liable to replace products due to this personalisation. We reserve the right to change ribbon colours, due to stock shortages and last minute orders on the rare occasion we do not have the ribbon colour you have requested we will use our initiative to choose the most suitable colour. Our cakes are hand made and not mass produced so each cake is individual to you, this is what makes them so special.The size of the cake may vary by up to 10%. The web site pictures are a guide but the final product may vary slightly. On rare ocassions if orders are placed the day before delivery day we may be forced to change the cake flavour (or flavour combination) of your order if the flavour is unavailable or not ready in time. If time is allows us to, we will try to contact the customer to notify them. We will not change the sponge type from eggless or Gluten free without written consent from the customer.
Artwork or photographs that are deemed offensive or pornographic may be rejected. Additionally we reserve the right to change the artwork if instructions are unclear and use our best judgement in line with the information supplied.

Cancellations made with more than 7 full working days notice from the delivery date will be charged a 20% fee to cover credit card charges and administration costs.

Cancellations made with more than 3 full working  days notice from the delivery date will be charged a 50% fee to cover credit card charges and administration costs.

Cancellations made within 3 full working days of the delivery date will not be accepted.

In the unlikely event that your cake is incorrect or damaged, this must be bought to the attention of the driver and the office in writing, who will ask you to inspect and sign for your cake. If time allows and it is our mistake we will correct an error. Notifciation of an error must be made before 3:00pm to allow a replacement.
If the goods are consummed, aware of the error, we reserve the right at our discretion to waive your right to a refund, as you are accepting the goods.
If a replacement is possible this will take priority over a refund.
Failure to notify us of an error or damage in the above time scale will mean we are unable to issue a full refund.

If you are at all unhappy with the taste of the cake, please keep a sample so that we may trace the batch and examine our HACCP records for any inconsistency.

We can only offer a refund as a gesture of goodwill if the cake has not been consumed and our investigations confirm the cake not to be of our normally high standard. We will only consider issues with your order if notified within 24 hours of delivery.

We abide by all UK consumer law.
